Cosby Pair Arrested For Drugs

Monday night Cocke County deputies made a drug arrest at an abandoned home. Police were called out to an address on Wildwood Drive in Cosby about a prowler outside that empty home. In back of the house, deputies found Kristy Hundley and John Benson both of Cosby sitting in a vehicle. After having the pair exit the vehicle, deputies found over 4.5 grams of methamphetamine, two marijuana cigarettes, two glass pipes and several syringes plus a set of scales used for narcotics. Police also found a backpack outside the vehicle that smelled of marijuana…it was later discovered that the backpack was owned by Michael Gunter who fled before police arrived. Both Hundley & Benson face charges for possession the meth and marijuana.
