Covid Cases Rising In August

Covid cases continue to rise in Tennessee…since July 30th there have been over 43,000 cases reported across the state. In Cocke County, there are currently 288 cases with 1 death in the last 2 weeks. Elsewhere, Greene County has surpassed 400 cases over the last 2 weeks with 424 active cases and 3 deaths in the last 2 weeks. Hamblen County has 556 active cases for the 2 week period that includes 2 deaths…Jefferson County reports 337 cases…Sevier County reporting 758 active cases since July 30th…there have been 2 deaths reported in Jefferson County and 4 in Sevier County.
