Covid On The Rise

Covid cases continue a sharp rise in the area. Statewide, there were over 29,000 total cases reported for the 2 week period ending on Thursday. In Cocke County over the last 2 weeks there have been 157 active cases reported with 1 death. Greene County has 267 cases with 1 death. Jefferson County reports 230 active cases with 2 deaths…Hamblen county 417 cases with 2 deaths and in Sevier County….the past 2 weeks has seen a reported 557 active cases…and 2 people have died.
