Del Rio Ramp Festival Saturday
Saturday May 7th is the day for the Del Rio Ramp Festival. They’ll be cooking up ramps and eggs and potatoes and bacon and much more tomorrow from 11am-3pm at the Brushy Mountain Bear Club’s Pavillion at the base of Round Mountain. Legendary ramp chef Gary Watts will be doing the cooking and there will be good bluegrass music as well. The Smoky Mountains are the backdrop for the event that now enters its 5th year. The Brusky Mountain Bear Club has served the Del Rio community for years by supporting the schools, helping those with medical issues or just doing chores around the house for those in need.
