Dolly Parton To Reveal Coaster Opening Date

Dolly Parton herself will be announcing next week when Dollywood’s new attraction, the Big Bear Mountain Roller Coaster will be opening. Officials with Dollywood announced recently that the coaster, which will be the longest in the park, was about 75% complete and would not be ready for the opening weekend. Dolly will be at the park next week for the opening of Dollywood’s 38th season. The park will open next Friday, March 10th for season pass holders and then to the general public on Saturday March 11th. The Big Bear Mountain coaster will feature nearly 4,000 feet of track when it opens…Dolly will let us know that date next week.
