Dollywood Announces 2026 Opening Date
While Dollywood is preparing for its annual Smoky Mountain Christmas, the park has just announced an opening date and details regarding the parks 2026 season. Yesterday, Dollywood announced it will open its 41st season on Friday, March 13th .
Dollywood officials say the park will offer special ride previews to season pass holders for their newest attraction, NightFlight Expedition. Those with a season pass will have the chance to experience this groundbreaking attraction before it debuts to the general public.
The park states that this ride is the worlds first indoor family hybrid coaster and water raft. At a cost of over 50 million dollars, NightFlight Expedition is the largest attraction investment in Dollywood’s history and will make its debut in spring of 2026.
In addition to the newest attraction, the park is also preparing to host its inaugural Run Dollywood Race Weekend which is scheduled April 25th– 26th. The park will host a 1 mile kid run for ages 4-12, and a 5k,10k, and half mile marathon for adults. Dollywood will also bring back its Flower and Food festival for the spring. That begins April 18th and runs through June 7th.
Right now, Dollywood is converting from pumpkins to Christmas trees. A Smoky Mountain Christmas begins at Dollywood this Saturday, November 1. It runs through Sunday, January 4th.
