Downed Power Lines Causes Traffic Tie Up In Cosby

If you were one of the many stuck on Cosby Highway in Cosby Tuesday morning, you can thank mother nature for the delay. A tree fell in the yard of a home in the 3700 block of Cosby Highway Tuesday morning and that brought down several power lines which were laying across Cosby Highway blocking traffic. The tree also landed on a Ford F-150 pickup as well. Traffic was backed up for a couple miles and some people were late to work because of the delay. Most were sitting in their vehicles for about an hour while the highway was cleared. It took some nearly an hour to go from the Cosby High School to the Foothills Parkway.
