Driver Ejected In Cosby Hwy Crash
A crash late Thursday sent the vehicle’s driver to UT Medical Center with injuries. A witness told police that 32 year old Sheela Harricharan Singh was driving a 2004 Honda Pilot southbound on Cosby Hwy near the Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and overturned. Singh was ejected from the vehicle and suffered injuries serious enough that he was airlifted to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. 7 passengers were in that vehicle including two young under the age of 3 that were fortunately in child safety restraints…all passengers in the vehicle were wearing seat belts but all suffered minor injuries of sorts…but none were life threatening. No word on the drivers’ condition.
