Drug Bust At Morristown Motel

A on Tuesday. Police received information that a stolen 2021 Toyota 4 Runner out of Richmond, KY. was at the Days Inn on Andrew Johnson Hwy. Officers found Jessica Southerland of Morristown next to the vehicle. She attempted to flee but was detained…she had an active warrant on her for escape. She had come from Room 124 where police then found Buster Carpenter, Adam Kitts and Amanda Acuff all of Morristown. Carpenter was in possession of the keys to the stolen vehicle. Inside that room police found suboxone and heroin plus 39 grams of suspected meth in bags, plus two bags of heroin. In the 4 Runner police found more drugs…all 4 individuals were placed under arrest with various drug charges.
