DUI Arrest On Saturday

A Cocke County deputy pulled over a vehicle that was running off the road on Highway 340 near Parrottsville on Saturday. The Nissan van was pulled over in the Parrottsville Dollar General parking lot. 46 year old Crystal Ramsey of Parrottsville was at the wheel and showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Her license had been suspended due to DUI previously. Several open containers were found in her vehicle. Also Ramsey was found to be in possession of a baggie containing 3.89 grams of cocaine and two other baggies with four pills believed to be Xanax. She was also in possession of nearly $1200 in cash. Ramsey was arrested and charged with sale, delivery and possession of cocaine plus DUI and several other charges.
