Florida Man Arrested After Robbery He Says Was Due To His Video Game Addiction: Port Richey, Florida resident Gary Rodriguez arranged to meet a seller from Facebook Marketplace that was offering an Xbox console. The seller says that once he showed the console to Rodriguez at the meet-up, he grabbed it and ran. Deputies say they found Rodriguez nearby after they were called and arrested him, finding the Xbox and an eight-inch chef’s knife he told deputies he had brought with him for protection. The sheriff’s office says he told them he stole the console because of a ‘video game addiction.’ He’s been charged with robbery by sudden snatching.
