Dump Truck Stolen From Work Site Near Del Rio

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office looking for someone who stole…a dump truck. Phillip Gardner of Greeneville told the sheriff’s office that his yellow 1995 Ford L900 dump truck had been stolen from a job site on Highway 107 north of Del Rio. It wasn’t just the dump truck that was stolen, but also missing from the jobsite was a 1983 Eager Beaver trailer, a 2022 John Deere skid steer and two gravel buckets. Total value of all that equipment is in excess of $140,000. Gardner says he has the only set of keys for the dump truck and he could see tracks in the gravel where it was taken, leading him to believe it went towards Greene County. Anyone with information on this theft should call the Cocke County Sheriff’s office.
