East Tn Man Causes Fatal Fiery Crash In Wyoming
A Greene County man is in custody in Wyoming after causing a fiery crash that caused the deaths of five people. Authorities in Carbon County Wyoming say that Arthur Andrew Nelson of Limestone, Tennessee was traveling in the wrong direction on Interstate 80 on Jan. 22 when he allegedly hit a commercial truck and a passenger car. The commercial truck then continued into the opposite lane where it hit a Ford F-150 truck, killing all five of the occupants inside. According to reports, several other motorists were injured in the crash, some of them with critical injuries, and multiple vehicles burst into flames due to damage sustained in the crash. Among the charges that Nelson now faces in Wyoming include five counts of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
