Eighteen Wheeler Spills The Beans In Greene County

Beans, beans, beans…that’s what they saw on Newport Highway in Greene County Monday. A semi truck hauling Bush’s Baked Beans ran off the side of the highway around 7am Monday morning. The truck then struck a utility pole, overturned and spilled out its cargo of cans of baked beans all over the front yard of a home. Traffic had to be diverted for several hours while crews cleaned up the mess. No one was injured. No word on whether the homeowner got to keep some of the product spilled onto their lawn.
