Faison Pledges Support For Hegseth Nomination

State Representative Jeremy Faison has voiced his support for embattled Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth. Faison issued a statement on Monday declaring his support for the Hegseth nomination saying in part “the relentless attacks against this war hero and proud Tennessean , launched by both the far-left and the D.C. Republican establishment, are truly beyond belief.”

Faison points out that Hegseth is a highly decorated military veteran, is highly educated with degrees from both Harvard and Princeton, and is a staunch advocate for the military. Faison also said in the release that Hegseth, who lives near Nashville, is “unafraid to challenge the toxic wokeness the Biden administration has injected into the military”.

Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton and House Majority Leader William Lamberth signed the statement released to the press along with 62 other Tennessee house members.
