FEED MY SHEEP COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Feed My Sheep Ministries is preparing for its annual Thanksgiving outreach, offering dine-in meals for the community and special deliveries for seniors in Cocke County.

This year marks the 24th Annual Traditional Thanksgiving Day Meal, which will be served on Thursday, November 27th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The meal is dine-in only and includes a full homemade Thanksgiving spread with turkey and dressing, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, angel eggs, rolls, cranberry sauce, and dessert.

In addition, the ministry will host its 3rd Annual Senior Thanksgiving Meal Delivery on Wednesday, November 26th, with meals delivered by the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office. Seniors wishing to receive a meal must call 423-625-3130 to get their names on the list.

Organizers say donations are still needed, especially homemade desserts, to help make the event possible. Feed My Sheep Ministries is encouraging anyone who can to partner with them and help provide a warm holiday meal for neighbors in need.
