Firefighters Save Two People And A Snake In Fire
Two people and a snake are safe after a fire in Parrottsville this morning. The fire broke out around 5:20 Tuesday morning in a single wide trailer on Ray’s Loop Road. Firefighters with the Parrottsville and Cocke County fire departments responded and found the mobile home engulfed in flames. The fire was contained to the kitchen and living room areas, but fire crews say the structure is a total loss. A man, woman and a 6 foot python were rescued from the home suffering from smoke inhalation. They are expected to recover. A dog however perished in that fire. Parrottsville fire had the scene cleared by 7:14 am. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
