Food City Reports Employee Theft

On Wednesday, officer Andy Oliver responded to Food City West for a report of theft. The store manager stated that an employee had been stealing money from the store. The manager provided a list and store video of the theft. The employee, on several different days, placed money to the side of the register in order to take it. There was 4 separate incidents over a 2 week period where the employee had stolen a total of $146 from the store. The suspect is identified as Leigh Presnell, who was placed under arrest and taken to the Cocke County Jail Annex.
