Former Employee Suspected Of Embezzling

A former employee with Murphy USA…the gas station in front of Wal-Mart…is suspected of embezzling funds from the business. Loss prevention told police that 37 year old Joseph Greene was caught on security footage stealing money in a scheme that saw him ring up customer’s purchases, void the transaction, the pocket the cash from that transaction. Loss prevention stated that Greene stole the money during a period of about 6 weeks from August 14th to the end of September. Murphy USA says in all Greene embezzled over $5,300 of the companies money. No arrest has been made yet in that case.
