Four Arrested During Warrant Execution In Newport
Four people were arrested Tuesday morning (5/13) after a search warrant was executed during a drug investigation. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office served a Narcotic search warrant just after 6:30am at 218 Action Street in Newport. The joint SWAT team entered the residence and several individuals were detained. They were found in a shed, the basement and the apartment at 218 B Action Street. Three of the individuals taken into custody were wanted on active warrants out of Sevier and Jefferson County. Arrested were:
37 year old William Michael Robinson– He was found with 18 grams of heroin and is charged with Possession of Schedule 1 and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
30 year old Christian Williams– She is wanted for Failure to Appear in Sevier County.
37 year old William Harris- Wanted for Violation of Probation in Jefferson County.
40 year old William Davis- Wanted for Violation of Probation in Sevier County.
Cocke County Sheriff CJ Ball says the search warrant executed this morning is part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
