General Session Court Judge Looking To Retain Position in 2022
General Sessions Judge Brad Davisson will look to retain his position in 2022. Judge Davidson made that announcement late last week. Davidson was first elected in 2014 for an 8 year term. He followed Judge John Bell in the republican primary in 2014. Before being elected to the bench as general sessions court judge, Davidson was the assistant public defender for the district that encompasses Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson and Sevier Counties. Judge Davidson has also served as town attorney for Parrottsville, the attorney for the Newport Housing Authority and the Natio0nal Bank of Tennessee and was also on the Board of directors for Newport Utilities. Judge Davidson will be looking for a second 8 year term as General Sessions Court Judge in the May 3rd republican primary.
