Get Ready For Fireworks!

You’re starting to see the tents going up…that means fireworks for the 4th of July will be going on sale soon. One such tent that will be selling fireworks has its proceeds going for a very good cause. The Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department says they will be kicking off their 13th Annual Fireworks Fundraiser soon. Grassy Fork says they are expected to get their delivery of the BIGGEST fireworks allowed for personal use in the USA to arrive as early as the beginning of next week!!! Their fireworks location is off exit 447 on I-40, that’s the Hartford exit. If you’re coming from Newport, take the Hartford exit, turn right and they’ll be on the left. There is no sales tax and they give First Responder and Active Military discounts. All proceeds from the sales of fireworks at their site will benefit the Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department.
