Greene Co. Deputy Recognized For Saving A Life
A Greene County Deputy is being recognized for her recent life saving action. Greene County resident Rhonda Hennessy told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department that she was recently dining at a local restaurant when she began to choke. Her husband tried to help her but nothing he did was helping. That is when she says Deputy Sarah Brown sprang into action and performed a lifesaving maneuver to clear Hennessey’s blocked airway.
On Tuesday, Deputy Sarah Brown was presented the Lifesaving Commendation Bar by Sheriff Wesley Holt who says he is proud to have her as part of his department. Deputy Brown says she just did what anyone else would have done in that situation.
