Greene County Man Charged With Murder

A Greene County man is being charged with murder after the shooting death of a 73 year old man. According to the Greene County sheriff’s office, Thursday around 4:35 pm, deputies were called to a possible shooting at a residence in the 5600 block of Old Stage Road. When Deputies arrived they found Clarence “Lynn” Devoti, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers attempted CPR on the victim, but EMS arrived and pronounced him dead on the scene. The GCSD Criminal Investigations Division with assistance y the TBI began investigating the shooting.

They soon landed on a suspect, 36 year old William “Justin” Harrison of Afton. He is being charged with second degree murder. He was arrested and taken to the Greene County jail where he is being held on a $600,000 bond. No further information about the shooting is being released at this time.
