Greeneville Middle School Student Taken To VMC In Nashville
A Greeneville Middle School student is now in Nashville at the Vanderbilt Medical Center. 12 year old Kaden Gunter suffered a medical emergency during football practice on Tuesday. He was flown to the Johnson City Medical Center and on Wednesday was then transferred to Vanderbilt in Nashville where he is undergoing further testing. His family says at this time he is in critical but stable condition and is currently on a ventilator. The Greeneville Middle School principal says that the quick actions of the coaching staff Tuesday probably saved Kaden’s life. A portion of ticket sales from last night’s middle school home football game and tonight’s Greeneville High School game at Volunteer will go to Kaden Gunter’s family to help cover medical costs and travel expenses.
