Greeneville Student Charged With Weapon Threat

Greeneville police have charged the student who caused the Greeneville High School to go into lockdown mode Tuesday. At about 7:20 yesterday morning Greeneville High School administration was notified that a student was planning on bringing a weapon to school. The police were notified and the school went into lockdown as a precaution. Several students were already at the school while many others were enroute at that time. Police searched the school and found no weapon. The student who made the threat was taken into custody and questioned….that student has ben charged with disorderly conduct and filing a false report.
