Greeneville Woman Among Those Arrested In Drug Conspiracy

A Greeneville woman is among 4 east Tennessee individuals that have been arrested after a months long investigation of conspiring to bring drugs into a penal facility. That facility is the Bledsoe County Correctional Complex…Bledsoe County is on the southern Cumberland Plateau near Fall Creek Falls State Park. The investigation dates back to last year for some of the arrests. The 4 arrested are Betty Joe Poe of Bristol, Rocky Renfroe of Kingsport, Luke Tippy of Crossville and Amber Lawson of Greeneville…she is charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility, conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal facility, and manufacture and possession of schedule III drugs. That investigation is ongoing.
