Greeneville Woman Arrested For Public Intoxication

A Greeneville woman was arrested on Tuesday after she was found intoxicated in a store…with her children. Greeneville police say they were called to Food City on Asheville Highway yesterday afternoon and they found 30 year old Samantha Farley chasing her daughter in the store. The responding officer had to catch the little girl for Farley who was unsteady on her feet and had slurred speech. Police say she was clearly intoxicated. Samantha Farley was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication, plus 2 counts of child abuse and neglect.
