Hamblen Co Man Arrested For Killing Wife

A Hamblen County man is in jail after he killed his wife over the weekend. Hamblen County deputies were called to a home on Marie Street in Talbott after Charles Barbely called 911 to say he had killed his wife. Deputies arrived at the home and Charles Barbely laid a handgun down on a front porch table. He was immediately taken into custody. Inside the home, deputies found Mickey Barbely unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Charles Barbely is being charged with first degree murder.
