Hamblen County Man Arrested For Violating Sex Registry
Police in Hamblen County and Morristown have arrested a Talbott man who faces charges of violating his sexual registry. 26 year old David Steven Allen was arrested this week charged with two counts of violation of sex offender work restrictions and three counts of solicitation of a minor to observes sexual conduct. There are two incidents…one happening in Morristown on White Road…the child involved will see a children’s forensic specialist before police will comment further. The second case happening in Hamblen County involving three children.
According to Hamblen County authorities, a woman told them that an ex-roommate and Allen were at her home moving some furniture when she noticed Allen whispering to her two children and a next door neighbors child. When Allen stood up, she says she knew something was wrong and asked what he was speaking with her children about to which Allen stated he asked them to conduct indecent acts. She ordered him to leave her home…and as he walked down the driveway had her two children with him. She rushed out to get the kids and then called police were used the sex offender registry to locate Allen who was then taken into custody.
