Hamblin County Sherriff Honored By WSCC

Hamblen County Sheriff Esco Jarnigan was honored over the weekend by Walters State Community College. Jarnigan was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Walters State. The college honored for Jarnigan with a ceremony on Saturday. According to the college…The Distinguished Alumni Award is the most prestigious honor bestowed to Walters State’s alumni that have displayed outstanding service to their profession, their community, and to Walters State. Esco Jarnigan has been Sheriff in Hamblen County since 2006…but announced last year that he would not seek reelection for another term in 2022.
