Hawkins Co Man Arrested In Cocke County With Heroin
Cocke County deputies were dispatched to Old Asheville Highway in the area of the Land fill for a possibly impaired driver in a white Dodge pickup. That vehicle was spotted traveling westbound on east Hwy 25/70 and was pulled over by deputies at Brock’s Market. 30 year old Jeremy Bush of Rogersville was behoind the wheel. Bush was sweating and shaking and continued to drop papers that the deputy asked for. Bush was found to be under the influecne of a narcotic. When placed into the patrol car, he admiytted that he may have drugs in his wallet. Deputies then found a small piece of aluminum foil folded up inside the wallet. Inside the aluminum foil was a brown substance believed to be 1 gram of heroin. Bush has been charged with possession of schedule I narcotics as well as driving under the influence.
