Heavy Traffic Expected On The Parkway In Sevier County

The Sevierville police department has issued a traffic advisory for the Parkway this weekend. Starting on Friday and continuing through Sunday, traffic is expected to be extremely heavy on the parkway through Sevierville and Pigeon Forge on the way to Gatlinburg. Sevierville PD says Officers will be monitoring traffic signals and directing traffic at some locations to assist motorists as much as possible. They say motorists should expect delays and should plan for additional travel time on the Parkway and its connecting roads this weekend.
