Hendon Hooker Signed By Titans
A popular former Tennessee Volunteer is back home in Tennessee. Former Vol quarterback Hendon Hooker has signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans. Hooker led Tennessee to its first 11-win season since 2001 during his time on Rocky Top, and became hugely popular with Tennessee fans. Hooker was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2023 draft. Besides the Lions, he has spent time on the practice squads of the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets.
Hooker is the second quarterback that the Titans have signed this offseason as they signed former first round pick Mitchell Trubiskey when free agency opened on March 11. Hooker joins Trubiskey and Will Levis in the Titans quarterback room as backups to starter Cam Ward. Levis is expected to be traded sometime before the start of the 2026 season.
