Hurricane Ian Moves CCHS Homecoming Up A Day

Cocke County High School celebrates their homecoming this week. However, Hurricane Ian is changing things a bit. The game between Cocke County and Knox Central scheduled for this Friday night has been moved up a day to Thursday night…kickoff scheduled for 7pm. The crowning of the Homecoming Queen will take place at halftime of the game. The Homecoming Dance will be Thursday night from 9-11.

The Homecoming Parade has been moved up to Thursday as well. The parade will begin at 2pm from the lower parking lot of the Cocke County High School onto Hedrick Drive, then turning right at Debbie’s Drive-In, down to Cosby Hwy where it will turn right and head down to Hedrick Drive as it circles back to the high school parking lot. Traffic will be affected during that time on Broadway, Cosby Hwy and Hedrick Drive.
