Indiana Police Investigating Death Of Jefferson City Truck Driver
Indiana state police are investigating what caused a Jefferson City, TN truck driver to crash into a weigh station on an Indiana interstate 2 weeks ago that killed the driver. Police in Indiana state that 63 year old James G. Bristol of Jefferson City was driving westbound on Interstate 74 near the Indiana/Ohio state line when his truck left the main roadway and and entered a weigh station exit ramp then crashed into the scale house. Bristol was pronounced dead at scene and the scale house was destroyed. Fortunately no one was in the scale house at the time of the accident. Investigators believe a health issue may have been the cause for the crash, but they can’t be sure pending results of an autopsy.
