Intoxicated Man At Food City Faces Drug Charges

Police arrested an intoxicated man at the Food City in the Eastern Plaza Shopping Center Wednesday afternoon. 37 year old Dustin Dunn had met with police earlier in the day at Food City after his girlfriend overdosed in the women’s bathroom. Dunn was clearly intoxicated and was transported to the Cocke County jail where jail staff discovered a pink baggie containing a powdery substance after it fell out of a body cavity while Dunn was changing clothes. That bag contained 8 grams of heroin. Dustin Dunn now faces charges of possession of schedule I narcotics and introduction into a penal facility.
