It’s Not Pie In The Sky, But Pie In The Face This Weekend In Hartford
The Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department is promising a lot of fun this weekend in Hartford with their 7th Annual Fall Festival Celebration. The fall festival will be Saturday and Sunday, October 18 & 19 at River Rat Rafting located at 3630 Hartford Road in Hartford. There will be music and food, plus hay rides, pumpkin painting for the kids, and a Kids’ Fire Safety House.
On Sunday, you will be able to throw a pie in the face of your sheriff. Cocke County Sheriff CJ Ball, along with Cocke County Mayor Rob Mathis and Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department chief Walt Cross are donating their faces to be plastered with pies. Others you will be able to take aim at include Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Blake Good and Swift Water Rescue member Danny Ray Reese. It’s all for fun and proceeds will benefit the Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department.
