JCSO Arrests11 On Drug Charges…More Arrests Coming
17 individuals are now facing drug charges in Jefferson County. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office says after a 6 month operation, 17 people were indicted this week by a Jefferson County Grand Jury. Eleven of those individuals were arrested by the Investigations and Narcotics Division of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office on Thursday. Five of those arrested are in Dandridge, that includes a 69 year old woman and 71 year old man. James and Wanda Vanderheede are charged with a total of six counts of sale and delivery of methamphetamine. Three people were arrested in Strawberry Plains, one in Kodak and one in Knoxville. Charges are mainly for sale and delivery of meth, plus in one case, fentanyl. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office is tracking down the others indicted to place them under arrest.
