JCSO Deputy Drug By Theft Suspect’s Car

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office is looking for a man who is wanted for aggravated assault on a police officer. Over the Christmas weekend, the sheriff’s office says that 35 year old Henry Burger was stopped by a deputy following a theft complaint. Burger refused to exit his car. A deputy then attempted to remove him from the vehicle when Burger drove off, dragging the Jefferson County deputy a short distance. The Deputy did suffer minor, superficial injuries. Henry Burger is a whoite male with very short brown hair, 5’9″ tall and weighs 160 pounds. A picture of Henry Burger is below and is posted on both the Jefferson County and Cocke County Sheriff’s office Facebook pages. Anyone who spots him should call 911.
