JCSO Deputy Suspended After Arrest
A Jeffrerson County Sheriff’s Deputy is now suspended from his job after being arrested this week. Sheriff Jeff Coffey saysdeputies responded Wednesday to a home on Old Newport Highway for a domestic disturbance call. That home happened to be that of Deputy Brandon Bullins and his girlfriend. According to Sheriff Coffey, deputies confirmed that an assault had taken place and that Deputy Bullins was found to be the primary aggressor. He wasd taken into custody at that time and charged with Domestic Assault. Sheriff Coffey says that Brandon Bullins is now suspended indefinitely. Bullins has been with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office for the past nine years.
