Jefferson Co. Man Responsible For Knoxville PP Fire

A Jefferson County man has been identified as the man who set fire to a Planned Parenthood center in Knoxville nearly a year ago. Yesterday at a press conference, Mark Thomas Reno of Jefferson City was revealed as the person responsible for the blaze that destroyed that center on December 31, 2021. Reno is not around though to answer to charges. Back in July of this year, Reno was arrested on charges of shooting at the federal building in Knoxville. Reno after suffering a medical emergency in August of this year. After Reno’s death, a civil lawsuit was filed for the seizure of his two cars and gun. Planned Parenthood then purchased a mobile health unit which is being put into service next week.
