Jody Lowe Running For County Trustee

Another Cocke County resident has announced their candidacy to take Rob Mathis’ job as Cocke County Trustee. Late last week, Jody Lowe of Newport announced he is running on the republican ticket in 2022 for that job. Lowe says that citizens need to know they can trust an individual who has their livelihoods at heart when they make financial decisions for taxpayers in the county. Lowe is the second individual to announce they are running for County Trustee to replace Mathis who is running for County Mayor. The primary election will be held on May 3, 2022.
