Kindergarten Registration Dates Announced
This school year still has a ways to go, but Cocke County schools are looking ahead to the 2023-24 school year, at least for those entering Kindergarten. Cocke County schools have announced the registration dates for those who will be going into Kindergarten this fall. Children who will be 5 years of age before August 15th are eligible to enroll. Registration starts late this month at various locations in the county including Bridgeport, Cosby, Del Rio and Parrottsville. Children being registered need to have a birth certificate, a doctor’s physical exam report and a Tennessee Certification of Immunization. The list of dates and times for kindergarten registration are below:

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Cocke County Schools have set the dates for registration of kindergarten students for the 2023-2024 school year. Children are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten if he/she will be 5 years old on or before August 15, 2023.
The following information is required by the first day of school in order to be enrolled in Cocke County Schools:
- BIRTH CERTIFICATE-certified copy or mother’s copy only.
- PHYSICAL EXAMINATION-by a doctor, health department, or health clinic.
- TENNESSEE CERTIFICATION OF IMMUNIZATION- no other record of immunization will be accepted. (TWIS form only)
