Kiwanis Club Of Newport Beans-N-Cornbread Dinner Date Set

Just in time for the fall weather, The Kiwanis Club of Newport has announced hte date for their Annual Beans-N-Cornbread Supper. The Kiwanis Club will have their annual fundraiser on Tuesday October 17th from 4-7pm at West End Baptist Church and there will be plenty of seating for those who want to eat in. Carry-outs will also available like usual. Dinners are $7 and include beans, cornbread, fixins, drink and dessert. This is a huge fundraiser for the Newport Kiwanis Club and all proceeds go toward helping the children of Cocke County. Each year, the Kiwanis Club of Newport awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to students from Cocke County and Cosby High Schools and participates in numerous community events to benefit children of all ages in Cocke County.
