Knoxville Man Arrested After Kicking In Door Of Cocke Co. Home
A Cocke County man was arrested on Wednesday after kicking in the door to a home. 20 year old Christopher Knox told Cocke County deputies that Quincy James, Jr. of Knoxville showed up at his address wanting to speak with Knox’s girlfriend. Knox says he told James to leave, but then James kicked the door in and entered the home. Knox says that is when he pulled a gun on James, who then went back outside the home. Quincy James, Jr., who admitted to drinking alcohol before the incident was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Christopher Knox’s gun…a sawed off .410 shotgun was confiscated by the sheriff’s office…charges are pending a review by the District Attorney’s office.
