Lightning Strike Caused Church Fire
TBI officials have revealed that it was a lightning strike that caused the fire that destroyed a Greene County church earlier this week. Officials said that a power line went down and landed on the church’s roof, sparking the fire. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told church leaders that their investigation points to a lightning strike that caused a ripple effect which burned the Riverview Community Seventh-Day Adventist church to the ground on Tuesday. Church leaders called the damage immeasurable…but have vowed to rebuild.
