Lindsay Gap Road Reopened

Lindsay Gap Road is reopen today after being closed for installation of guard rails yesterday. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office says that bridge has been the site of numerous accidents and they hope that the installation of those guard rails will help stop many of those accidents. That road is heavily traveled and not just by locals, but tourists as well. To give you an idea how heavily traveled that road is…the sheriff’s office reports that they had to turn close to 400 vehicles around yesterday because of that road closure.
