Loud Party Leads To Arrest
A loud party Wednesday night in the parking lot of the Quality Inn on Cosby Hwy resulted in the arrest of one individual. Police had been notified of several people out in the parking lot drinking and playing loud music. When officers arrived they advised the individuals to take the drinking indoors and to turn off the loud music, citing the noise ordinance in the city limits. 37 year old Carlos Ramos refused to quit drinking in the parking lot even after several orders to do so. He then began taunting the officers. Ramos then ran into the hotel away from officers. He went through numerous hallways waking up guest. Ramos was finally cornered in the hotel lobby and was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and evading arrest.
