Lowland Credit Union Suffers Loss
Lowland Credit Union has reported the loss of several thousand dollars. First Lowland states the four individuals from Morristown, knowingly deposited checks with insufficient funds in order to get money from an ATM. Those four individuals were Christopher Goins, Keyshon Robinson, Ann Connors and Quinton Riley.
Then, a Curtis Bryant of Morristown made a fraudulent deposit which then allowed him to withdraw $5,000 from his account. Lowland recouped some of the money by taking money from his account that was being put in from his direct deposit paycheck. However when Bryant realized what was going on, he stopped his direct deposit.
All total between the incidents, Lowland suffered losses of over $4,500.
